  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard and garlic in a small bowl.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Marinate steaks for at least 2 hours for best flavour.

Sweet And Spicy Marinade


  • 100ml balsamic vinegar
  • 225ml orange juice
  • 225ml pineapple juice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 spring onions, finely chopped
  • dried crushed chillies to taste


  • In a medium bowl, blend the vinegar, orange juice, pineapple juice, olive oil, pepper, garlic, spring onion and chillies.
  • Place meat in a shallow glass dish or bowl, pierce with a fork a few times, and pour 1/2 of the marinade over it.
  • Turn over and repeat.
  • Marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 24 hours for best flavour.
